To Transfer Gameplay Recordings to DVD-R:
NOTE: Transferring (or recording the indivudal gameplay sessions to DVD) is referred
to as 'Dubbing' in the Sony operation manual.
To maintain data redundancy, it is best to record
gameplay footage to the unit's internal hard drive
(HDD) and then copy the footage to DVD-Rs.
You are advised to make multiple recordings
(rather than one long recording). For example,
record a single mission or level, then press STOP
REC during an inactive sequence or pause-screen,
and then begin recording again when you start a
new level.
1. Insert a DVD-R into the DVD Recorder.
2. Press HDD to select the source.
3. Press TITLE LIST.
4. Press OPTIONS to select "Dub Selected
Titles," and press ENTER
5. Select titles (gameplay recording sessions) in
the order that you want to dub, and press
ENTER.
6. Repeat step 5 to select all the titles you want
to dub. NOTE: make sure that the total size of
selected files [1] does not exceed the available
space on the disc [3].
7. Select 'OK', and press ENTER
8. When asked to select a 'dubbing mode,'
select "Fast"
9. Select "Start" and press ENTER. The
remaining time of dubbing appears in the front
panel display.
