This means you do not need to set up the program channels on your VCR manually.     Troubleshooting If a problem arises while you are using the TV, please read this “Troubleshooting” well before you request having the TV repaired. You may be able to fix it easily by yourself. For example, if the AC plug is disconnected from the AC outlet, or the TV aerial has problems, you may think there is a problem with the TV itself.
  • Page 81 Troubleshooting • When viewing images from commercially available video software products, or videos from videotapes which have been recorded improperly, the top of the image may be distorted. This is due to the condition of the video signal, and not because of malfunction.

It is an unavoidable phenomenon due to the construction of the picture tube. It is not a problem with the TV. You can rest assured that this static discharge does not have harmful influence over the human body.
