Setting BIOS Function
System BIOS Cacheable
Selecting Enabled allows caching of the system BIOS ROM at F0000h-FFFFFh,
resulting in better system performance. However, if any program writes to this
memory area, a system error may result. Setting options: Enabled, Disabled.
Video RAM Cacheable
Selecting Enabled allows caching of the video memory (RAM) at A0000h to
AFFFFh, resulting in better video performance. However, if any program writes
to this memory area, a memory access error may result. Setting options: Disabled,
Enabled.
AGP Aperture Size (MB)
This setting controls just how much system RAM can be allocated to AGP for
video purposes. The aperture is a portion of the PCI memory address range
dedicated to graphics memory address space. Host cycles that hit the aperture
range are forwarded to the AGP without any translation. The option allows the
selection of an aperture size of 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB and 512MB.
Frame Buffer Size
Frame Buffer is the video memory that stores data for video display (frame). This
field is used to determine the memory size for Frame Buffer. Larger frame buffer
size increases video performance. Settings: 8M, 16M, 32MB, 64MB and 128MB.
TV-Out Mode
This item is used to select the TV-out mode in accordance with your regional TV
code. Settings: NTSC-J, NTSC-M, PAL-M, PAL-BDGHI, PAL-N, PAL-NC.
