1. Click Start, then HP User Tools.
2. From the Setup tab, click Printers. If your printer isn't listed, double-click Add
Printer to start the Add Printer wizard. Follow the Add Printer wizard's
instructions.
A parallel printer is normally at the LPT1 port.
An infrared printer is normally at the LPT3 port (a "virtual" port).
A serial printer is normally at the COM1 port.

To change the printer's settings

1. Click Start, Settings, Printers.
2. Using the right mouse button, click the Printer you want to change. Click
Properties from the shortcut menu.
3. From the Details tab select the options you want change.
