Audio input

Your hearing instrument is equipped with an audio input.
Together with an audio shoe it enables the connection
between the hearing instrument and e.g. an FM system,
tape recorder, television or an infrared device. This way
the sound is coming directly from the sound source. That
can be useful for adults in difficult listening situations and
for children in classrooms.
NOTICE
With the audio shoe L5 attached, the battery compart-
ment switch is disabled and the hearing system can only
be switched off via push button or remote control.
With the audio shoe F5 attached, the battery compart-
ment switch can still be used for the ON/OFF
function.
Risk of injuries caused by electric shock!

Use only the F5 or L5 audio shoes (labelled inside the
audio shoe). They are de signed exclusively for the your
hearing instruments.
WARNING
Connect audio input only to device conform to
IEC 60065. (IEC-Norm for audio, video and other elec-
tronic devices.)
