ASSEMBLY & OPERATION
ADJUSTING DEPTH OF CUT
The depth of cut can be adjusted easily by
turning the Depth Adjustment Knob (A) Fig.2.
To increase the depth of cut, turn the knob
clockwise. To decrease the depth of cut, turn
the knob counterclockwise. Increments in mm
are shown on the top of the Depth Adjustment
Knob.
SWITCH & LOCK-ON BUTTON
To start the planer, pull the Trigger Switch (B)
Fig.2. Release the Trigger Switch to stop the
planer. This planer also comes with a
Lock-On Button (C) which allows continuous
operation without having to hold the Trigger
Switch. To engage this mechanism, pull the
Trigger Switch and press on the Lock-On
Button, the Trigger Switch will stay locked in
place until disengaged. Pull the Trigger Switch
to disengage the Lock-On mechanism.
ASSEMBLING AND USING EDGE GUIDE
Your planer comes with an Edge Guide (A)
Fig.3 which is used to guide the planer along
your workpiece. Place the planer on your
workpiece as shown in Fig.3 and then insert
the Edge Guide into its mounting hole (the
Edge Guide can be placed on either side of
the planer) until it comes in contact with the
side of your workpiece, then secure it by
tightening the Edge Guide Lock Knob (B).
