To replace the remote battery for a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox:

1. Remove the battery cover by prying it with a finger.
2. Push on the battery and slide it toward the key blade to remove it.
3. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive side facing up.
4. Push the battery down until it is held in place.
5. Snap the battery cover back onto the transmitter.

If the "REPLACE BATTERY IN REMOTE KEY" message appears on the DIC, replace the battery.
