TIPS ON SPEED
The Delta calculates Speed by the change in altitude
at the selected slope angle over time. This will work
for all downhill applications but will not work for
horizontal applications like driving in your car, walking
or running unless you are headed down a hill.
To race a friend, make sure you both enter the same
slope angle so the results are based on you and
your Rad-ability. The Speed Recordings are only
approximate, but are great for reference. In addition
it is best for predictable descents. Long traverses
and flat sections will make your records less reliable.
