IMPORTANT NOTES

The following is a review of
some important information
about the use and care of
your NovoPen Junior.
Before each injection,
be certain:
The NovoPen Junior contains
1
the correct insulin PenFill
cartridge (such as Novolin R,
Novolin N, Novolin 70/30, or
NovoLog), if you use more
than one type of insulin.
The PenFill cartridge

contains enough insulin
for mixing, if you use a
suspension insulin
(white and cloudy) such as
Novolin N or Novolin 70/30.
To do an air shot with the

NovoFine needle pointing up
before each injection.
Be sure to:
Check the dose indicator
1
window after each injection
to make sure you have
received your full dose
(see page 22).
Remove the NovoFine
2
needle immediately after
each injection without
replacing the cap.
Select your dose only by
3
using the number in the
dose indicator window.
Perform the function check
4
regularly or if you think your
NovoPen Junior is not
working properly.
