4. BrlnQ the cable out from the trim near the front of the cabin

and route It under the carpet toward the dashboard or console.

Coli any eKcess cable In a hidden location, such as under the

carpet, keeplnq It away from any vehIcle pedals or controls.

Secure the eKcess cable with wire ties (purchased separately).

5. BrlnQ the end of the cable out at the PowerConnect Vehicle

Dock location. leave yourself enouqh cable so you can easily

connect It to the antenna connector 01 the dock.

6. Continue with "Step 5: Connect the Maqnetic Mount Antenna

and PowerConnect Power Adapter" on paQe 37.

• Pickup Truck:

Use a blunt plaslJc putty knife or sImilar blunt tool to lift the

rubber moldinq around the windshield and tuck the antenna

cable underneath It.

2. Continue tucklnQ the cable underneath the windshield moldinq

around the windshield to the lowest corner.

3. At the lowest corner of the windshield, route the cable out of

the windshield moldlnQ and Into the rubber weal her strlpplnQ

around the door openlnQ. lift the weather strlpplnq from the

openlnq and tuck the cable Inside II, then replace the wealher

strlpplnq. Run the cable Inside of the weather stripplnQ to the

bottom 01 the door openlnq.

4. Pull the cable out of the weather strippinQ at the bottom of the
