Changing the player settings

screen appears.

Display the

Setup menu.

(Press and hold)
• The settings remain intact even if you switch the unit to standby.
• Underlined items in the following table are the factory preset.
The QUICK SETUP enables successive settings of the items in the boxes with bold outline .

Player settings

7 "Disc" tab
Audio
Choose the audio language.
Subtitle
Choose the subtitle language.
Menus
Choose the language for disc menus.
Changing the menu language in QUICK
SETUP also changes this setting.

Ratings
Set a ratings level to limit DVD-Video
play.

Language options :
For Continental Europe
For Southeast Asia and Thailand
For the Middle East, South Africa, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait
* 2 The original language designated on the disc is selected.

Input a code number referring to the table on page 35.
* 4 If the language selected for "Audio" is not available, subtitle appears in that language (if available on the disc).

Do not forget your password.
A message screen will be shown if a DVD-Video disc exceeding the ratings level is inserted in
the unit.
