— Sound library operation

(with DVD changer)
About 2000 tracks can be recorded to the
hard disc drive (HDD) from audio discs (if
5−minute tracks are recorded at 128
kbps).
The recorded tracks will be provided with
album, artist, genre and title names using
the Gracenote, Inc. (CDDB) database.
license
from
These names can help you search for a
track easily.
Recording equipment should be used only
for lawful copying and you are advised to
check carefully what is lawful copying in
the country in which you are making a
copy. Copying of copyright material such
as films or music is unlawful unless per-
mitted by a legal exception or consented to
by the right owners.
D
The sound library is compatible
with SCMS (Serial Copy Manage-
ment System). A duplicate of a dig-
ital audio CD that is on a CD−R can-
not be recorded to the HDD.
D
The data recorded on the HDD can-
not be used without the copyright
owner's permission. The data is
for personal use only.
D
Operations on the navigation sys-
tem may take more time during re-
cording than normal.
D
Tracks from a CD are recorded in 4
times speed. You can listen to that
sound during recording.
D
The data is recorded using a highly
efficient compression method, so
sound may slightly differ from the
original depending on the sound
source.
D
Recording is possible only with a
CD that contains 44.1 kHz, 16−bit−
stereo PCM digital audio data.
