NOTE
Make sure to use the provided cables for connections. Do not use any other cables.
Using the Everio Dock
You can connect cables to the connectors of the Everio dock. The connection is completed when
you place the camcorder on the dock.

Do not connect the USB cable to both the camcorder and the Everio dock to prevent a
malfunction.

The S-Video cable (optional) enables even higher playback quality on TV. (
use the YTU94146A S-Video cable.
•
The DV cable (optional) enables even higher dubbing quality when dubbing fi les to a VCR/DVD
recorder. (
p. 53) Be sure to use the JVC VC-VDV204U or VC-VDV206U DV cable. Operation
using the DV cable is not guaranteed on all devices.
•
When other devices such as a DVD burner are connected to the Everio dock, turn off these
devices.
