Basic camera functions.
Camera main screen.
Start the camera application to get the screen as shown below. Via this screen and the touch panel,
several more advanced features of the camera can be accessed. The icons and there description
can be found in the table following this description.
Most of the icons are merely a status indication, while others can be touched to change settings. To
change the advanced settings, press the settings icon
on the lower right of the screen. In the
menu that is then drawn over the camera screen, you can change all the camera and video settings,
like the (auto) white balance, resolution, picture quality etc. See the chapter on the Camera/Video
settings for more information.
Taking pictures.
To take a picture, simply aim the device at the subject.
Press the capture key on the side of the H-21to take a picture of the subject.
Turning the camera off.
To turn the camera off and return to the main screen, press the Cancel
icon at the top of the
screen.
NOTE: To save power, the camera application enters a low power stand-by mode after it has not
been used for some time. The screen then turns black and "Suspend" is shown. To exit this mode,
simply tap on the screen and then the camera application resumes.
