Settings: [ ] = Factory-preset
[FHD] : Record in 1920 x 1080i (full high-defi nition),
VBR (Variable Bit Rate). Select this to record in the
highest picture quality.
SP : Record in 1440 x 1080i (high-defi nition), VBR
(Variable Bit Rate). Select this in order to record for
a long time.
1440 CBR : Record in 1440 x 1080i (high-defi nition),
CBR (Constant Bit Rate). Select this to copy a
recorded video using the i.LINK connector.
NOTE
If you switch the quality settings, a new fi le management
folder is created in the HDD or SD card. If you change
the settings frequently, you may not be able to record due
to a limited quantity of folders. In this case, perform the
operation shown on page 79.
[10X] / 40X / 200X
NOTE
When the smallest value is set, the optical zoom is used.
When one of the larger values is set, the digital zoom is
used.
OFF : Disables the function.
[ON] : Activates the function.

Accurate stabilization may not be possible if hand shake
is excessive, or depending on the shooting conditions.
•
Switch off this mode when recording with the camera on a
tripod.
