Problem solving guide
Problem
Browning is uneven. There will always be a slight unevenness. If browning is
"Max. operating
duration reached"
appears in the
display
A fault code will
appear in the
display: F + number
68
Possible cause and remedy
very uneven, check whether the temperature was set too
high, or whether the correct shelf level was used.
With Conventional heat V check the colour and material of
the baking tins being used. Light coloured, shiny, or thin
walled tins are less suitable.
Safety switch-off has been triggered.
The oven can be used again immediately by switching it off
and on again.
You can rectify the following fault code yourself:
– Fault 23: The pyrolytic temperature was not reached.
This could have been caused by too much soiling in the
oven to start with.
Remove all coarse soiling before starting the pyrolytic
cleaning programme again.
If the fault code appears again please contact the Miele
Customer Contact Centre.
– Fault 32: The door has not locked.
Interrupt the pyrolytic cleaning programme by switching
the oven off. Then start the pyrolytic programme again.
If the fault code appears again call the Miele Customer
Contact Centre.
– Fault 33: The door lock for the pyrolytic cleaning
programme will not open.
Interrupt the pyrolytic cleaning programme by switching
the oven off. If the safety lock still will not unlock please
call the Miele Customer Contact Centre.
For all other fault codes please contact the Miele Customer
Contact Centre.
