D07. WIRING AND HOSES
a) Check the hoses, hose connec-
tors and various clamps for tight-
ness.
b) Visually inspect the condition of
all harness connectors and termi-
nals for proper installation and
tightness.
D08. ENGINE OPERATION (COLD)
Check that the engine operation is
smooth when cold (engine stability,
no noise, engine vibration or rough
idle, etc.).
D09. ENGINE OPERATION
(DURING/AFTER WARM-UP)
Check that the engine operation is
smooth
during/after
abnormal
noise,
rough idle, etc.).
D10. ELECTRIC COOLING FANS
a) Check that the electric cooling
fans rotate smoothly when the
engine coolant is hot.
b) With the air conditioning turned
on and after sufficient pressure
has built up, check that the elec-
tric cooling fans turn on and ro-
tate smoothly.
Note: The electric cooling fans are
controlled by engine water tempera-
ture and air conditioning refrigerant
pressure. Do not touch the fans
when the engine is hot.
D11. FLUID LEAKS
Look for fuel, oil, coolant or other
fuel leaks around the following com-
ponents:
a) Engine (cylinder head and around
the head cover)
b) Autmatic transmission
c) Brake lines and hoses
d) Radiator and hoses
e) Fuel lines and hoses
