TIP: Clean metal contacts with a clean cloth when replacing batteries
1. Remove battery cover plate on the timer.
2. Insert 2 – "AA" batteries as pictured (on back cover)
NOTE: When changing batteries (after the initial installation), the time and
programs will be maintained if battery change occurs within 10 seconds.
II. PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS
*Both sides of the timer are programmable or manually operated. To program
your Nelson 56611 timer, rotate the dial clockwise to the appropriate selection:
SET TIME; PROGRAM; SET; REVIEW; SELECT; RUN; ERASE; OFF
A. Turn dial to [SET TIME]
1. To set the current time: Hour on the clock will flash. Use the [+] button to
increase hour displayed. Use the [-] to decrease hour displayed. Press [ENTER]
to select the correct current hour.
2. To set the minutes: After you have selected the hour, the minutes will flash.
Use [+] and [-] as above to reach the correct minute. Press [ENTER] to select
the correct current minute.
3. To set AM/PM: press [+] or [-]. Press [ENTER] to select.
TIP: Holding [+] or [-] button allows you to scroll more quickly through
your time selection.
NOTE: Clock is set on standard time. To change to military (24 hour) time,
depress both [+] and [-] buttons simultaneously and hold for 5 seconds.
If switched to military time, depress both [+] or [-] buttons to return to standard
time.
