Note: Batteries should last 1 season with average usage.
Use of the mist cycle will shorten battery life.
Important Safety Information
1. Warning: This timer is intended for outdoor, residential watering
applications only. Not intended for indoor or commercial use.
2. Use fabric reinforced hoses only; damaged or cracked hoses should
not be used.
3. Remove the timer from the faucet during freezing weather and store
inside. Exposure to temperatures below 0°C (32°F) may damage the unit.
4. Timer should not be submerged in water, used in damp pits, or buried.
5. Check connections regularly for a tight seal.
6. When using for the first time, observe the progress for one week to
ensure that it is operating properly.
7. Before a long absence/vacation, insert new batteries and test your program.

8. When storing, turn to the [OFF] position. Make sure the unit is completely empty of water and in a frost-free environment only. Remove the batteries. 9. Use 2”AA” alkaline batteries only. Do not use rechargeable batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. - Page 3 II. To program your Nelson 56611 timer, rotate the dial clockwise to the appropriate selection: SET TIME; PROGRAM; SET; REVIEW; SELECT; RUN; ERASE; OFF A. Turn dial to [SET TIME] 1. - Page 4 4. To set the current day: Use the [+] and [-] buttons to scroll to the current day of the week. When the correct day is lit, press [ENTER] to select. B. Turn dial to [SET] NOTE: For [PROGRAM SET] functions, use the [+] and [-] buttons to advance/go back through the selection options. When you have reached the desired settings, press [ENTER] to select. NOTE: The Mist function is a program setting itself and can not be assigned to other programs.
