IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS This 32” / 37” wide active matrix TFT (thin film transistor) liquid crystal monitor is designed for use as a stand alone TV as well as a display device for video electronic appliances and personal computers. Please read through this section carefully and follow the instructions to maximize the reliable operation and lifetime of your LCD display.

    Safety Precautions 1. Cleaning: Unplug the power cord from the AC outlet before cleaning the product. Use a damp cloth to clean the product. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. 2. Water and moisture: Do not use the product near water or areas of high moisture content such as swimming pools, bathtubs or wet basements.

To use advanced features, you must use the remote control. POWER ：Turn the LCD-TV on or off.

    5. Remote Control This universal remote control enables control of up to four devices. To select a device, simply select one of the device mode controls: TV, VCR, CBL, or AUX. NOTE To control this LCD-TV, don’t forget to press TV button(at the top-left of the corner) once to switch back to TV mode, or the LCD-TV won’t work by using the remote control.

    Summary of Control Buttons POWER Turn the device on or off. Selecting the Main Signal source SOURCE Display a list of Main I/P Sources. Switch to TV (NTSC/ATSC) mode. AV/SV Switch to Composite( AV ) or S-Video mode. YPbPr Switch to Component (Y/Pb/Pr) mode. PC/HD Switch to D-SUB or HDMI mode.

    Parental Control & Four Rating Systems The Parental Control utilizes the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA)、USTV(FCC) and Canadian English、 Rating Systems for determining blocked programming. When the French parental control lock is enabled, the TV will automatically block any programs that are coded with objectionable ratings.

Direct Device Code Setup Although your Remote Control is set up to provide control of this TV, you can specify other devices to be controlled, according to the following steps.     B. Searching for a Device Code If none of the codes listed under Device Codes list match your device, you can search for a set of commands that will work. Your Remote will sample all the codes in its system to find one that will allow you to control your device.

If there is more than one code listed for device, enter the first one, and then try the POWER button. If the device turns on (or off), the code is correct. If it does not, try the next code.     8. Troubleshooting There is no picture or sound. ‧ Make sure Power cord and Antenna cable are properly connected. ‧ Make sure the MAIN POWER switch is set to ON. ‧ Verify that there is a valid source signal. ‧ Make sure the correct input mode is selected. There is no picture from AV.
