  • Page 7 CBM-290/291 Service Manual 4. Remove a base plate assembly. (1) Remove an E-ring from a shaft. (2) Pull out the shaft. (3) Pushing a lever inside, pull out the base plate assembly to this side. · Remove a paper guide from the base plate assembly.

(1) Pull out the paper feed guide in an arrow-indicated direction. · Remove a paper gate from the auto cutter assembly. (1) Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove 4 screws(PHT, M2 x 3) used to secure the paper gate.
