Overview
Once the PV Panel Kit has been installed and connected to
the Solar Hot Water System Controller, the solar system will
and operate on PV power, whenever sufficient PV power is
available. The PV Panel Kit includes the required hardware
for the panel to be installed in either a flush mount or tilt
mount configuration. Tilt mount angles can be 20, 30, or
45 degrees. Optimum tilt is equal to the site latitude in
degrees. For example: Phoenix AZ latitude is 33 degrees.
