Parking Brake
CAUTION: Before leaving operators
position, engage parking brake and
lock.
Parking Brake is provided to prevent tractor from
rolling when parked or left unattended.
To engage parking brake, shift into neutral,
depress clutch/brake pedal and pull parking
brake knob out, then release clutch/brake pedal.
Parking brake lock is disengaged by depressing
clutch/brake pedal. (Refer to Adjustments
Section if parking brake does not function
properly.)

Travel Speed Selector (Gear Drive)
Travel Speed Selector lever is used to select
neutral (N) or gears in tractor transaxle that
proved six forward speeds with one reverse
speed. These speeds are shown on shift lever
quadrant.
First (1) speed is slowest and (6) indicates
fastest forward speed.
To start engine, Travel Speed Selector must be in
neutral (N).
IMPORTANT: DO NOT force Speed Selector lever if
gear does not engage. Apply slight pressure on lever
while releasing Clutch Pedal.

Speed Selector (Hydro)
Forward is controlled be depressing forward
pedal to increase speed.
Reverse is controlled by depressing reverse
pedal to increase speed.
When you remove your foot from the forward or
reverse pedals, tractor will stop (neutralize) if
cruise control switch is not in the on position (light
on).
Cruise Control (Hydro)
To fix speed: depress forward pedal to the desired
speed, press the rocker switch into the spring loaded
"ON" position (light on will go on), and release to the
"RUN" position (Figure 2). Your speed from 0 to 3
MPH will be maintained. To disengage cruise: push
switch off or depress the clutch/brake pedal.
CAUTION: If the forward/reverse pedal
is repositioned while the cruise
indicator light is on, the cruise will reset
at the new speed and/or direction
selected.
Transmission Disconnect (Hydro)
TRANSMISSION
IMPORTANT: DO NOT push or pull (tow) tractor with
another vehicle as transmission damage will occur.
When transporting, use truck or trailer.
