    GETTING STARTED KEY FOB Locking And Unlocking The Doors/Liftgate • Press the LOCK button once to lock all the doors and the liftgate. Press the UNLOCK button once to unlock the driver’s door only and twice within five seconds to unlock all the doors and liftgate.

    GETTING STARTED Panic Alarm • Press the PANIC button once to turn the panic alarm on. • Wait approximately three seconds and press the button a second time to turn the panic alarm off. Express Window Feature • To remotely lower both front door windows at the same time, press and release the UNLOCK button and then immediately press and hold the UNLOCK button until the windows lower to the level desired or until they lower completely.

  • Page 13 GETTING STARTED • Place the child upright in the seat with their back firmly against the seatback. • Grasp the latch plate and pull out the seat belt. • Slide the latch plate up the webbing as far as necessary to allow the seat belt to go around the child’s lap.
  • Page 14 GETTING STARTED Installing The Lower Attachments: • The vehicle lower anchorages are round bars located at the rear of the seat cushion where it meets the seatback. • Loosen the adjusters on the lower straps and on the tether strap so that you can more easily attach the hooks or connectors to the vehicle anchors.

    GETTING STARTED Installing The Child Restraint Using The Vehicle Seat Belts • To install a child restraint, first, pull enough of the seat belt webbing from the retractor to route it through the belt path of the child restraint and slide the latch plate into the buckle.

Rotate the lumbar lever downward to increase the lumbar support or upward to decrease the lumbar support as desired. • Lift the recliner lever located on the outboard side of the seat, lean back and release at the desired position.

    GETTING STARTED REAR SEATS 60/40 Split Second-Row Passenger Seats To Lower The Seatback • Locate the seatback release lever on the lower outboard side of the seat. • Place one hand on the seatback and apply a gentle pressure. • Lift the seatback release lever with the other hand, allowing the seatback to move forward slightly, and then release the lever.

    GETTING STARTED HEATED SEATS Front Heated Seats • The controls for front heated seats are located in the switch bank in the center of the instrument panel. • Press the switch once to select High-level heating. Press the switch a second time to select Low-level heating.

    GETTING STARTED WARNING! Do not adjust the steering wheel while driving. The tilt/telescoping adjustment must be locked while driving. Adjusting the steering wheel while driving or driving without the tilt/telescoping adjustment locked could cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
  • Page 23 GETTING STARTED Auto Unlock Doors On Exit • To have all of the vehicle doors unlock when any door is opened: • Enter your vehicle and close all the doors. • Within 15 seconds, cycle the ignition switch from the LOCK position to the ON position a minimum of four times, ending in the LOCK position (do not start the engine).

    OPERATING YOUR VEHICLE TURN SIGNAL/LIGHTS LEVER Headlights/Parking Lights/Automatic Headlights • Rotate the end of the lever to the first detent for parking lights , the second detent for headlights and the third detent for AUTO. • When set to AUTO, the system automatically turns the headlights on or off based on ambient light levels.
