Quick Start Guide
To quickly start watching satellite TV:
Apply power to the TracVision 12V receiver.

2 Turn on your TV and select the satellite input (not VCR input) .
Wait 30-60 seconds for the antenna to acquire the satellite TV signal.

The TV shows the following messages:
Message 1
If your satellite dish is ready for DIRECTV
service, please wait until your
Advanced Program Guide ™ is prepared.
Installation
Signal not available...
If Message 1 does not appear after 30 seconds,

press the remote control's SAT button.* Then
press the remote's PWR button. The receiver
beeps twice and its Antenna light flashes green.
If Message 2 does not appear after Message 1, ensure the antenna

has a clear view of the satellite. The antenna requires an unobstructed
view of the southern sky to receive satellite TV signals.
* If the SAT button does not illuminate red, replace the batteries in the remote control.
** If your receiver is not activated, you will only be able to access the DIRECTV
Refer to the red Activation Card for details on activating the receiver for DIRECTV service.
Once the antenna finds the satellite, and the receiver downloads the

Changing channels:

To change channels, select

Use the numeric keypad to enter the channel number.

Press the GUIDE button to bring up the Program

Guide. Once you're in the Program Guide, use the

joystick or CHANNEL(CH) button to scroll through
the list, and press the SELECT button to tune to a
channel.
