Understanding the Icon Messages Your icon keypad communicates information by lighting the words and phrases in the icon display. The words that make up a mes- sage may be on different lines, or separated by other words. For example, you may see the following message in your display: This message indicates that Zone 4 is not ready to arm. -

What Areas Do Your security system allows you to divide (or "partition") a building into as many as eight areas, regions that can be armed and disarmed individu- ally.
