Disabling/Enabling Wireless Communication

The Wireless Switch Utility icon appears in the notifi cation area when the
computer is turned ON. It shows the status of wireless devices.
: Indicates that the wireless devices are enabled.
: Indicates that the wireless devices are off.
(gray indication): Indicates that the wireless devices have been disabled in
the Setup Utility.

To enable or disable particular wireless devices

Click the Wireless Switch Utility icon to show the pop-
up menu.

Select ON or OFF for the device you want to enable or
disable.
To check the wireless communication status

Place the cursor over the Wireless Switch Utility icon
on the notifi cation area.
A tool tip appears.
NOTE
To use wireless WAN, set [Wireless WAN] to [Enable] (default) in the [Advanced]
- [Wireless Confi guration] menu of the Setup Utility.
