    5. XLR Output Jack - This jack is used to transmit the incoming DMX signal to another DMX fixture, or transmit a Master/Slave signal to the next Emerald Scan™ in the chain. For best results in DMX or Master/Slave mode terminate this jack if it is the last unit in the chain.
  • Page 7 Master/Slave configuration. It can operate you fixture. also operate via DMX controller. The Emerald Scan™ is ready to be DMX-512: plugged in out of the box. After plugging the power cord into a power DMX is short for Digital Multiplex.
  • Page 8 The Emerald Scan™ is a three channel DMX unit. The DMX COMMON address is set on the side panel of the Emerald Scan. ™ Your unit and Termination reduces signal errors and DMX + avoids signal transmission problems...
