To toast bread: 1) Select the desired level of browning with the browning control knob. The browning level increases as you turn the knob clockwise. 2) Place your bread in the bread slot. 3) Press the bread carriage lever down until it locks into place.
FEATURES AND CONTROLS: Browning Control Knob • The required toasting time of the bread or bagel will vary depending on the type, thickness and freshness of the bread. Bagels and thicker breads require longer toasting times, as do breads with higher moisture content.
