Clutch
adjustment may required if the
motorcycle stalls
when shifting
into
gear,
or tends to creep;
or if the
clutch
slips
causing
acceleration to lag behind engin~
speed.
Normal
clutch
lever free play should be
10-
20
mm (3/8-3/4
in)
at the lever
(I).

l. Adjustments can be made with the
cable adjuster at the lower end of the
cable.
Loosen the loci\ nut
(I)
and turn the
cable adjusting nut (2) to obtain the
specified free play. Then tighten the
lock nut.
