Section 3 - Configuration
In WDS, the DWL-7700AP wirelessly connects multiple networks, without functioning as a wireless AP.
Wireless Band:
Select either IEEE 802.11a or IEEE 802.11g
Mode:
WDS is selected from the pull-down menu.
SSID:
Service Set Identifier (SSID) is the name designated
for a specific wireless local area network (WLAN).
The SSID factory default setting is dlink. The SSID
can be easily changed to connect to an existing
wireless network or to establish a new wireless
network.
SSID Broadcast:
Enable or Disable SSID broadcast. Enabling this
feature broadcasts the SSID across the network.
Channel:
The current channel is displayed here. All devices
on the network must share the same channel. (Note:
The wireless adapters will automatically scan and
match the wireless setting.)
Auto Channel
This option is unavailable in WDS with AP mode.
Scan:
Remote AP MAC
Enter the MAC addresses of the APs in your
