BIOS

Default settings is set to best perform for common users.
To retrieve the default setting, Press F9 in BIOS menu. Press F1 0 to save settings.
Boot Option
Boot Priority Selection
Press <DEL> when BIOS logo shows on startup.
Choose <BOOT> tab.
Device Based
Select between device and type based boot priority lists. The "Device Based" boot priority list allows you to
select from a list of currently detected devices only.
Type Based
The ''Type Based" boot priority list allows you to select device types, even if a respective device is not yet
present.
Moreover, the "Device Based" boot priority list might change dynamically in cases when devices are
physically removed or added to the system.
Type Based is DEFAUL T from DAP.

Operating Systems (OS)

VERSO+ Core iS can operate with 32 (x86) and 64-bits (x64) OS.
VERSO+ Core iS can have WES7, Windows 7, WE8S or Windows 8.1, all versions x64, preinstalled from DAP
VERSO+ Atom D2550 can operate Windows 32-bits (x86) only.
VERSO+ Atom D2550 can have WES7 x86 or Windows7 x86 preinstalled from DAP.
The boot disk is set to operate in AHCI mode in BIOS by default.
If the choice of OS hasn't built in drivers for AHCI they have to be manually installed.
Download AHCI I RAID driver from DAP portal.
For Windows XP press <F6> when installation starts.
Install the downloaded driver. Then proceed with installation.
If the OS is decided to run in I DE mode, the disk setting in BIOS have to be altered.
Press <Delete> at start to enter the BIOS menu.
Select <Advanced>
Select <SAT A I PATA Configuration>
Change <SATA Mode Selection> from <AHCI> to <Native IDE>
