Installation Connecting VCR Your VCR may have different kinds of outputs like RF, composite video and S-Video. Normally S-Video delivers the best video quality, RF output delivers lower quality video. If S-Video is available, connect the S-Video output of your VCR to AV1, AV2 or AV3. If S-Video is not available, connect the composite video output on your VCR to AV1, AV2 or AV3.
Installation Connecting a DVD Player The RD 50/65 is equipped with state-of-the-art deinterlacing circuitry that is superior to the technology provided in most DVD players. The recommended input for DVD players is the SD input with DVD player output mode set to 480i. Furthermore, please make sure the TV-type or TV aspect ratio is selected as widescreen (16:9) on the DVD player.
