Connection Tips If two S4S subwoofers are used, the wires for both speakers should be the same length. If one speaker is placed closer to the amplifier than the other, hide the excess wire behind the wall. For existing construction, carefully remove a section of wallboard that reveals the studs on either side of the bay where the back box will be installed, enabling the board to be screwed back onto the studs after installation is complete.
