determined according to the reading
indicated on odometer or the interval,
whichever comes first.
If the maintenance items are expired,
the car should also be maintained
with the same interval.
The rubber hose (used for cooling and
heating system, braking system and
fuel system) should be checked by
the qualified technician according to
the maintenance schedule of BYD
Suri.
These are very important
maintenance items, with interval of
maintenance recorded in the
maintenance schedule. Replace the
hose at once if it's degraded or
damaged. Note that the rubber hose
will be degraded with time, and then
be swelled, worn or ruptured.

specification of BYD Company and by
the skillful and professional
well-trained technicians. All the BYD
authorized service stations meet
these requirements.
The service items and running time or
mileage listed in the maintenance
schedule are worked out based on the
assumption that the car is used as a
regular transportation tool to carry
passengers and goods. The following
advices should also be observed:
1. Avoid exceeding the load limit of
car. Overload will impose extra
burden to the engine, brake and many
other parts.
2. Drive on the road which allows car
running and drive at limited speed in
accordance with the law.
3. Drive you car regularly to run
several kilometers.
4. Be sure to use the recommended
gasoline.
5. Maintain the car according to the
BYD Suri maintenance schedule in
order to keep the three way catalyst
and the entire emission control
system work normally. Don't operate
the engine in the garage or closed
places except for driving the car in or
out of the garage. If the exhaust gas
can't be eliminated, it will cause
serious dangers. Keep the trunk lid
close when driving. The exhaust gas
will enter into the car if the truck lid is
open or not closed tightly. If the
exhaust gas is smelt in the car, open
the car windows and close the trunk
lid to allow the fresh air coming in. If
there is no car around while the
exhaust gas can still be smelt, check
the car in BYD authorized service
station.
It is recommended to use original
parts or oil of BYD Company or
equivalent substitutes when
maintaining the car. These articles
that have the same quality as the
original parts of new BYD car, can
ensure your car operates free of
faults.
