maintenance operation. These items
must be maintained by qualified
technicians from a BYD service
station. They can keep a record of
maintenance for your car, which will
be very helpful when you need
maintenance service.
Does Your Car need Repairing?
Pay attention to changes in vehicle
performance and sound, as well as
visual signs for necessary repair.
Some important conditions are shown
as below:
a. Engine hunting or instable, obvious
decrease in power, abnormal
engine noise;

b. The car is leaking underneath (air
conditioning water drops are
normal);
c. Abnormal exhaust sound;
d. Flat tyre; excessive noise made by
tyres while cornering; uneven tyre
wear;
e. The vehicle leans to one side while
braking or driving in a straight line
on level ground;
f. Abnormal noises related to
movement of suspension system;
g. Loss of brake effectiveness or
spongy feeling when braking;
h. Engine coolant temperature stays
higher than normal continually;
i. Engine malfunction light comes on
(after vehicle starting).
