6.13.1 SNMP

The IDU can be configured to send SNMP traps to a trap receiver if it is accessible over the IP network.
SNMP traps are configured via the Alarm tab of the web GUI interface.
Two traps can be separately configured: 1) an Alarm trap that is sent periodically only when an alarm condition
exists for the terminal, and 2) a Heartbeat trap that is sent periodically to indicate that the terminal is alive.
Both of these traps include an (identical) field-delimited argument containing key status and alarm condition
information for that terminal. An example argument string is shown below. The argument includes 18 fields
with "|" used as a field delimiter.
