3.1.7.4 Personal Video Recording (PVR) configure

[Record Device]: Select the USB device for recording.
[Format]: Format the selected USB device.
[Time Shift]: You can select the maximum allowable length of time for time shifting
This function allows the user to configure the options for recording. Please notice
that the File System supported is FAT and FAT32. In Multimedia-PVR menu, user can
view or delete the recorded program.
To obtain maximum performance for PVR functions, a USB 2.0 device is required.
Please use a dedicated USB device for PVR functions. Do not edit recorded files on a
PC. Before using the USB device for the first time, please format it. All data will be
lost when formatting, please ensure that all valuable data is not within the USB
device.
NOTE:
o TEAC cannot guarantee compatibility (operation and/or bus power) with all USB
mass storage devices and TEAC holds no responsibility for any loss of data that
may occur when connected to this unit.
o With large amounts of data, it may take longer for the system to read the
contents of a USB device.
o Some USB devices and external hard drives may not be properly recognized.
o Even when they are in a supported format, some files may not play or display
depending on the content.
3.2

PVR instructions

3.2.1 Instant Recording

You can press REC button to record the programs you are watching. During recording
you are able to view other sub-channels broadcasted on the same frequency. If you
try to change the frequency, a message will appear asking you to confirm and end
recording or cancel.
