You can power your TV from:
• internal batteries
• standard AC power
• a vehicle's cigarette-lighter socket.
Note: Connecting an AC or DC adapter
automatically disconnects internal batteries.

Your TV uses nine D batteries (not
supplied). For the best results, we
recommend RadioShack alkaline batteries.
You can also use rechargeable nickel-
cadmium batteries. If you use rechargeable
nickel-cadmium batteries, you must charge/
recharge them with a battery charger (both
items available at your local RadioShack
store).
Follow these steps to install the batteries.
1. Turn the TV over and press the arrow
marks on the battery compartment
cover. Then slide the cover off in the
direction of the arrows.
2. Install nine
alkaline batteries
as indicated by the
polarity symbols
(+ and –) marked
inside the
compartment.
Caution:
Installing batteries incorrectly can
damage the TV .
3. Slide the battery cover all the way back
until it locks securely.
Note: The TV can operate for about 8 hours
with alkaline batteries. When the sound
level lowers or the picture becomes
unstable, replace the batteries.
