    1) In accordance with the laws governing the use of pesticides and detergents, only authorised substances may be used (authorised specialist shop). Due of the risk of physical injury, the GARDENA Backpack Caution ! Sprayer must not be used for spraying substances other than those specified by GARDENA.

    2. For Your Safety V Never open the Backpack Sprayer or unscrew the Danger of sprayer handle when the Backpack Sprayer is still pres- physical injuries : surised. V Always release the pressure completely before opening the Backpack Sprayer by pressing the pushbutton of the sprayer handle.

    4. Fit the tank cap and screw tight by hand (do not use pliers). Fertilisation with GARDENA Universal Liquid Fertiliser Art. 8303 for outdoor use : For sheet fertilisation and young plants : 1/ 2 cover cap on approx. 5 l spraying liquid For root fertilisation : 1 cover cap on approx.

    Please contact your local disposal centre and ask about proper disposal of the products you have used. Thorough inspection : We recommend that you have your Backpack Sprayer thorough- ly inspected (preferably at a GARDENA Service Centre) after using it for 5 years.

    Tank is difficult to open. Pressure in tank too low v Clean the tank cap because the valve in the tank is blocked. If you have any other problems with your Backpack Sprayer please contact GARDENA Customer Service.

    If you have any problems with your Backpack Sprayer, please contact our Customer Service or return the defective unit to- gether with a short description of the problem directly to one of the GARDENA Service Centres listed on the back of this leaflet.
