If You Have a Flat Tire
Emergency Front Wheel
Removal/Installation
Refer to
Saf ety Precautions
We recommend wheel removal be done
only by your Honda dealer or another
qualified mechanic. Do not attempt to
remove the wheel on your own. Wheel
removal requires mechanical skill and
professional tools.
Removal
1.
Park your motorcycle on a firm, level
surface.
2.
Raise the front wheel off the ground by
placing a support block under the
engine.

Remove the speedometer cable set
screw ( ) and disconnect the

speedometer cable ( ).
4.
Remove the front brake adjusting nut
( ), and disconnect the brake cable ( )

from the brake arm.
5.
Remove the front axle nut ( ).
