    GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Locking nut In countries that have a warm and dry climate there is a significant risk of fire. We therefore fit certain mufflers with a spark arrestor mesh. Check whether the muffler on your machine is fitted with this kind of mesh. A locking nut is used to secure some types of cutting attachment.

    ASSEMBLY Fitting other guards and cutting attachments • Fit the guard (A) to the gear housing using the support plate (M) and two screws (L). • Fit the drive disc (B) on the output shaft. • Turn the blade shaft until one of the holes in the drive disc aligns with the corresponding hole in the gear housing.
