    Aerial Connections - TV set only - To enjoy a clearer picture, we recommend that you use an outdoor antenna. The following is a brief explanation of the types antenna connections: (1) 75-OHM COAXIAL CABLE: Connect the cable from the antenna to a standard DIN45325 plug (IEC 169-2) and plug directly into the antenna socket on the rear of the TV set.

    Switching on TV Set Main power This TV memorizes the Mode last used when it was switched off. When the MAIN POWER is pressed to turn on the set, the Power indicator will light and the set will resume in either the Stand-by mode or Programme mode, depending upon its condition when it was switched off.

PANORAMA 4 : 3 16 : 9 The Panorama Mode adapts the broadcast picture to 16:9 format without changing the centre of view. This is especially useful for programmes like the News when the speaker in the centre of the picture needs to be seen clearly.

    Features Setting Mode In this mode you can set LANGUAGE, ON-TIMER, OFF-TIMER, CHILD LOCK and view the all functions implemented in your TV set demonstration . LANGUAGE You can select the desired language for the TV screen. GREEN FEATURES menu - LANGUAGE Press MENU to see the MAIN menu.

    Press Volume UP to select: SWITCH ON in white letters. STAND-BY Adjusting the SWITCH ON Time.     Other Features TV/VIDEO With this button you can select either source of input for the TV/Video menu When TV/VIDEO is first pressed, the TV/Video menu appears and TV mode changes to VIDEO mode. The AV-1 screen is displayed in the last VIDEO mode. TV/VIDEO Press the corresponding COLOUR to select one of the input sources, as indicated in the diagram.

    Depending on the TV programme, the Teletext FLOF PICTURE pages are transmitted using different systems. Your SHARP TV is adjusted to receive 2 Teletext systems, namely FLOF and LIST, which are automatically identified by the receiver. TELETEXT The user can easily identify them by the manner in which they appear on the screen.
