In case of refrigerating gas leakage, the troubleshooting must be carried out not only in the traditional welding,
but also in the junctions with LOKRING ring of the battery-capillary R and battery-return hose S hoses.
If the rubber valve remains open, the humid air outside the freezer compartment is ducted inside and
accumulates too much ice on the battery. The valve remains open if there are foreign bodies or if it looses
elasticity, therefore, in the first case the foreign bodies must be removed, while in the latter the rubber valve must
be replaced.
To perform the test and the technical service a new manual defrosting procedure has been introduced to be
carried out with cold internal temperatures.
The electronic board must be powered with the thermostat knob in ON position and closet freezer door, then
perform the following 4 operations:
1. Rotate the thermostat knob in OFF position;
2. Open the freezer door for at least 1 second (it is not necessary to close it again);
3. Press SUPER button till the corresponding led lights;
4. Rotate the thermostat knob in ON position.
At this point all leds flash for 10 seconds, then the defrosting procedure starts.
WARNING: after turning the thermostat knob to OFF position (operation 1), there are 15 seconds to perform in
the correct sequence the other 3 operations (operation 2-3-4).
In case of error or wrong execution of the operations, the electronic board returns to normal conditions.
In this case, before performing the manual defrosting procedure again, it is necessary to reset the door state,
opening and closing it again.
