Safety Precautions
To prevent a burn, please ensure the following
q Do not touch the hot surface such as the warming plate or top surface of
the body while appliance is in use or after use.
q Do not move the appliance when the glass jug is in place.
q Do not remove the glass jug while brewing.
q Please unplug and allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it.
q When handling the glass jug with hot coffee is in, do not to open the glass
jug lid. Hot liquid may spurt out or drop on your hand.
To prevent a fire or injury, please ensure the following
q Do not use the appliance on following places.
The place where is uneven surface, on non-heat-resistant carpet or table cloth
etc.
(It may cause a fire.)
The place where it may be splashed with water or near a heat source.
(It may cause an electric shock or leak.)
Near a wall or furniture.
(It may cause a discoloration or deformation.)
q Do not move the appliance by holding the water tank lid.
q Make sure to hold the power plug when unplugging the power plug.
Never pull on the power cord.
(Otherwise it may cause an electric shock, or fire due to short circuit.)
q Unplug the power plug when the appliance is not in use.
(Otherwise it may cause an electric shock, or fire due to electric leakage.)
q Make sure to clean the appliance after every use.
(Otherwise it may cause smoke or a fire.)
Important Informations
• Do not fill the water tank other than water, such as milk or hot water.
(It may cause a malfunction.)
• Do not place the glass jug on any heat sources or in microwave.
(It may cause breaking the glass jug.)
