Setting the On Timer
You can set the on timer to automatically turn on the TV
to a preset channel or input at a preset time.
To activate the On Timer:

From the APPLICATIONS menu, highlight On
Timer and press @.

Press. or ... to select Enable On Timer, and then
press .... or
~
to select On.
Note: If the Enable On Timer is set to Off, other menus
under On Timer cannot be changed.
To set the On Timer:

From the APPLICATIONS menu, highlight On
Timer and press @.

Press. or ... to highlight the item you want to
change, and then press .... or
~
to make your desired
adjustment.
Setting the Sleep Timer
You can set the sleep timer to turn off the TV after a set
length of time (maximum of 12 hours and 50 minutes).
To set the sleep timer using the remote control:

on the remote control to set the length of time
until the TV turns off. Repeatedly press
scr
to increase
the time in la-minute increments, or press. or'" to
increase or decrease the time in la-minute increments,
to a maximum of 12 hours and 50 minutes.
To set the sleep timer using the on-screen menus:

From the APPLICATIONS menu, highlight Sleep
Timer and press

Press the number buttons to enter the length of time
or press .... or
~
to increase or decrease in la-minute
increments (maximum of 12 hours and 50 minutes).
Note: When
a
power failure occurs, the sleep timer setting
may be cleared

To select the channel when the TV turns on.

To set the time when the TV turns on from
now with .... or ~ or the number buttons
(maximum of 12 hours and 50 minutes).
To display the remaining sleep time:
Press
S~EP.
To cancel the sleep timer:
Repeatedly press
S~EP
until it is set to a minutes.
Note:
• While the
On Timer
is set to
On,
the On Timer LEO is
turned on (1& "LEO indications" on page 61).
• If you do not operate the TV for 1 hour after it is powered
on by the On Timer feature, the TV will automatically turn
itself off.
To cancel the On Timer:

From the APPLICATIONS menu, highlight On
Timer and press
@.

Press. or ... to select Enable On Timer.
3 Press .... or ~ to select Off.
