    ACTIVATING YOUR PHONE If you purchased your phone at a Telus Store, it is probably activated and ready to use. If you have upgraded your phone or received a new phone by mail, it probably needs to be activated before you can use it.

    SETTING UP YOUR VOICEMAIL SET UP VOICEMAIL All unanswered calls to your Telus PN-8200 by UTStarcom are sent to voicemail, even if your phone is turned off. You’ll want to set up your voicemail and personal greeting as soon as you activate your PN-8200.

    BATTERY USAGE When the phone is powered off and charging, a charging status screen will appear on the Sub LCD screen on the outside of the phone. The battery is not charged when the phone is first purchased – fully charge the battery before first use.

    CONTACTS Using the Contacts feature of your PN-8200, you can manage all the phone information you need. There are many options for adding contacts, retrieving contacts, and managing the information for each contact. CREATE A NEW CONTACT To enter a new contact manually, without having the caller on the phone, you will use the Contacts selection from the home screen.
