Bass Amplifiers Thank you for selecting a Peavey MAX Series bass guitar amplifier. The MAX Series offers great sound in a small, convenient and easy-to-use package. Its design makes it perfect as a practice amplifier or for small jam sessions. The built-in Tape/CD jack allows you to jam along with your favorite tunes while the headphone input offers the convenience of practicing privately anytime, day or night.
EQ to respond in a manner similar to the amp being modeled. The EQ controls on the MAX 158, 110 and 112 are of a standard passive type (controls interact depending on setting), while the MAX 115 has an active EQ with independent cut and boost.
Front Panel (5) RCA CD/Line In jacks (MAX 158 and 110 only) ® These RCA input jacks allows you to connect a stereo, tape or CD player to your MAX Series bass amp and play along. (6) Post-EQ EFX Loop (MAX 112 and 115 only) This section allows you to add an effect or connect a CD player post-EQ or after settings have been applied to the EQ section (see 4).
Front Panel (8) Master Volume (MAX 115 only) This control sets the overall volume for a preset. As with the Gain knob, rotating this control clockwise increases gain or overall output.
