  • Page 29 Optional Laminated Beam PROJECT 512 Fig. 23 NOTE: Lay the lumber on a flat surface before beginning laminated beam assembly. 24" NOTE: Attach one end of the beam with one 2-1/2'' screws, screw boards and attach the other end with three 2-1/2'' screws. This will insure that your boards will stay aligned throughout the remainder of the beam assembly.
