Can the MH9BX or other Mr. Heater portable propane heaters be configured to be connected to an RV propane line with a female quick connect?
I've converted a Weber propane bbq to connect this way by removing the regulator an installing a fitting with male quick connect (the RV propane line is regulated).

The Mr. Heater Portable Buddy MH9BX is designed for use with disposable propane cartridges and can also use a 20 lb propane tank with an optional hose connection. However, the manual specifies that the regulator should not be removed, and adaptors should not be used. Since RV propane lines with a female quick connect typically require a different connection method and may bypass the built-in regulator, connecting the heater directly to an RV propane line is not recommended.
